The newest High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatment is now available. HIFU is delivered directly to subcutaneous tissue, stimulating the renewal of the skin’s collagen. HIFU was found to significantly improve the definition of the nasolabial, jawline, submental and neck areas, according to one Turkish single-center study conducted in 2019. Patient satisfaction was reported to be over 80% and physicians reported that the high frequency technology was superior to existing technologies because it could reach greater depths within the tissue.

The ultrasound energy penetrates deep beneath the skin at the optimal temperature for collagen regeneration. The technology is based on lines – so traditional HIFU shoots one line of ultrasound at a time, but our machine which is 3D HIFU shoots 11 lines at a time. This results in a faster and more even stimulation of the tissue. We have a couple different treatment heads that can stimulate tissue at different depths, as well as treatment heads for the body in case you wanted to firm up some lines and tighten the skin on areas other than the face.
We recommend this for people who want to tighten up their facial areas and get rid of fine lines by plumping up the tissue naturally. It’s safe to use after botox injection as well but we would suggest doing the HIFU treatment at least one week after.
It takes two to three sessions, spaced 3-6 months apart. That’s because since you’re stimulating your body to naturally create collagen, results come after 2-3 months as the body is regenerating collagen. We typically do a follow up visit 6 months or one year after the treatment to make sure that your results last.
